Scouts steel building

Located in an area of trees, this building needed to fit into the environment as well as being aware of the implications the trees could have on the building. The building had to be built while also being sympathetic to the surroundings.

  • Case study of scouts steel building front

The building was to replace a timber building that had reached the end of its life. The new steel building was required to be a low maintenance improved replacement.

We had to carry out the project from the design stage though concrete footings and base and then to supply and install the building.

The main requirement for the building was to provide a storage building for the equipment and supplies for the scout group, which was used on a regular basis for different activities.

“Firstly, I must say what a terrific job your company has done.  I understand too, that the contractors were first rate, making themselves popular on site and well respected for their skills.  Thanks too for DPL advising on the colour, which has turned out to be perfect.  It blends very well with the surroundings.

Finally, I would be very pleased, if asked, to provide a recommendation on the entire project, that went very smoothly indeed. Lincoln and District Scouts are highly impressed!”
